My Verizon DSL has been reduced. DSL modem light blinks and the Internet light is white?
His is not the first time that has passed. Sumtimes It falls but then, after the lights go back up the Internet and works. But now came back down and been down for 2 whole days now. As I said dsl light is flashing lights and the Internet is not listed yet. I have the Westell Model 6100 modem. How I can solve problems so it does not happen again. Or at least that works for now.
Try this: Turn off the computer. Unplug the power cord from your modem. Wait 5 minutes complete. Connect the power cord into the modem. Wait three minutes. Turn on the computer again. This is called a new IP address. Sometimes it happens. You may have to do in the future to save the instructions if it works. If not, call Verizon may have a bad modem.
