If I am using a 5500 watt generator RV, I use the inverter? So confused ...?

I am a young man trying to live in an RV. I have a generator WEN 5500. It is early 70s model RV. Should I get something that can store the power I'm producing to last all night, or if you just charge my battery service? Someone just explain in layman terms what I should do to conserve and produce more energy with my generator. Even if that means using solar panels. WEN is the brand, which has 120 out, I converted to use the 4-pin plug thing, sorry I am stupid when it comes to these things.

What are their needs energy? If you just need energy for lights and a fan, which has a gene longs overnight no sense at all. Does the RV have lights with batteries lighting and AC? If you have a refrigerator, do you have a choice of LP gas? Otherwise, it could be an option to explore and probably more cheaper than running a gene in the long term. If you need energy for air conditioning then you're in luck because these are large consumers of energy and probably kill a battery (with an inverter) in a short period of time. Implementation of a gene is very expensive and inefficient. We ran our house for ten days of winter when the power was out. We ran the gene 8 hours a day, 4 hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon. This kept the freezer (pork enormous power) at an acceptable temperature and provide lighting for the night. He took the water and ran a wood stove to reduce our reliance on electricity. I advise the same strategy for you. Determine what you really need electricity and switch everything you can to other forms of energy. This may allow you to reduce the size of your generator to be more cost less to run and run well. Run all you can off the 12V DC battery instead of using equipment designed for 120V and requiring the use of an investor. It is more efficient and allow you to use a small solar panel to help with the battery. When you run the gene should also be used to help to keep the battery charged and an auxiliary battery may be justified aux seconds. You may be able to use a solar panel to charge a battery and exchange to out with the other when it runs out. The key is to analyze their energy needs, reducing as much as possible, using alternative energy sources where possible, and optimize the use of the gene. If you think about it, this is the challenge of the world and ...
