Tab Tabbing

Why do some soldiers of the Army Ranger Special Forces have a tab on their uniforms and some do not, not all SF?
I realized that some Uniforms have the ranger tab in the tab in the air and SF tab. Not everyone in the Air? are'nt and all the soldiers of the Special Forces Ranger considered?
Fudge almost succeeded. Rangers are special operations. Special Operations Special Forces are. Special Forces is a specific title like Rangers SEAL unit, etc. Nobody in the U.S. military Special Forces, except the kids using the Green Berets. Ranger School Ranger tab prizes of gold and black. Tab All it means is that somebody went to Ranger School and graduated. They are not a Ranger because they use the chip. conventional infantry and other jobs to school Ranger for the value in the training provided, will be wearing the Ranger tab, but not Rangers. For a Ranger who are serving or have served in 75 Regiment Ranger. That's the only way to be a Ranger. Rangers All (the guys from the 75th Ranger Regiment) will attend the Ranger School at some point during their stay in the regiment. It is a requirement that the Rangers to attend Ranger school and graduate in order to maintain leadership positions within the 75th Ranger Regiment. By Special Forces, training course is different, and once complete SFQC, is granted the tab "long" and will serve on an SF ODA. You need not have attended the Ranger school in San Francisco. A lot of SF guys served in the Ranger Regiment. before they were SF for what would have been sent to Ranger School, while in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Many were regular, conventional Infantry (82nd Airborne Division, for example) and can attend Ranger School that way (which were not Ranger Ranger qualified only). This is why you see some SF guys with Ranger tabs and some without. They also have the opportunity to go to Ranger School when in San Francisco, but many find it difficult to get the time. The Airborne tab is only part of the review. It does not indicate that one is in the air qualified. That is what the board is for. The 101st Airborne Division still has the Airborne tab but have not been on the air since the '70s. All Special Forces and all the Rangers (boys serving in the Ranger Regiment 75) qualified in the air. Those who simply went to Ranger School is not assigned to the Rangers 75th or special forces can not be described in the air, depends on your unit.
