I'm trying to figure out the rules committee and if there are any and if we can do ours.?
We are putting up a play group and have found with a problem. A few weeks ago we had a speaker come to give us information about how to start and who to contact. Also we must create an educated committee. Hey Paris This is the right play group? You are not talking about changing the rules of how the UN works ...! All you need is an AGM as you say then nominations for the various positions on the committee, they can be sent if you require. Finally a vote secret for each position. Even if there is only one candidate for a position then obviously, no ballot is needed, the person appointed automatically is in. .. With regard to the responsibilities of each position on the committee that is something the committee members decide together and can alter at a later date if necessary.
